In the Desert
The Sahara desert in Africa: one of the hottest places in the world. Animals that live there have to have special adaptations or they wouldn't have a chance of survival under the scorching sun. Humans that travel there have to make special preparations before crossing the enormous desert that covers more than thousands of miles.
Nomadic tribes that traveled throughout the region were herders that traveled the place seeking fresh pastureland for their camels, goats, and sheep. One of these type of people were the Bedouins. They wandered about the desert and many other regions alike while herding their herds of camels who traveled in packs. Another group of nomads were the Berbers who spoke the Berber language. Most of the Berbers depended on herding and farming for a living. A tribe that spoke the Berber language were called the Tuareg. The Tuaregs roamed the Sahara with their herds of camels, cows, goats, and sheep.
Nomads very similar to the Bedouins, Berbers, and many other ancient tribes are still existent today. their life style is still very much the same as they still use their herds of camels to communicate all throughout.
