Linking the Diverse Cultures
The ancient cultures of the Middle East and Africa were and still are now significantly different from each other. People throughout all these time periods and regions have found ways to communicate with each other in order to keep the empire or kingdom successful and flourishing.
By trading and traveling throughout the many different places, people have learned the other culture's way of life, technology, and also traded with them to know what important products that they produced or had. Also by interacting with other cultures, kingdoms and empires were able to see their religion, and some kingdoms actually converted to that religion.
Empires in the Middle East traded different goods with Asia and China that included goods that were very valuable. During some periods of time they have traded with the Portuguese and many other early countries. When the diverse cultures interacted with each other, they became allies since they wanted each other's goods. The ancient civilizations were linked mostly by trade routes, which interacted and linked the civilizations by trading.
